Pushie Push!

(Top pictures: Clement Lim and Jonathan Whye blocking the flow of the rest of the 4.11 boys)
haha. lame prawn la (lame sia). haha. there was once we just finished our lecture, then clement was bored or something, so he decided to block off the rest of the 4.11 boys from the staircase. HOW? by using his body. haha. the rest of the 4.11 boys were like: "ok on the count of 3 push ok? one, two, three! PUSH!" haha.. but it so didnt budge. smart ppl like me then decided to use another staircase! haha. then we rushed up there and started snapping picts of clement and jon whye in action. XD. it sure was a funny and fabulous sight to see the whole class ganging up on 2 jokers and the 2 jokers seemed to be winning. haha. xD. sian. i so miss my old class. haha.

Prasad? wads he doing there?

(Prasad and his stupid face on the school's iMac. good thing i saved it wahaha)

(A picture of Prasad?)

haha.. you know right, there was this one time i was coming back from school. yea. was really really REALLY tired.. then hor. i alighted from bus 75, and stopped short on my track. i froze. i was staring at this advert on 100+. haha. cos i looked at it from far and i was like: "oh my goodness... what is Prasad doing there? is he like advertising for something?" haha. and furthermore it was raining on that day! i was like stoning in the rain and ppl at the bus stop were simply just stoning at me. haha. it took me about 4 minutes to realise i was drenched to the core that i ran into my house. haha. the next day i then decided to take this photo of him.

well, what do you guys think? doesnt he look like prasad from afar? haha.. i nearly died when i saw that la. haha. oh wells.. i guess thisll be all the fun ill type for this event! XD. till next time!

Flubbertasia!

haha
(sugar spice, and everything Not nice! haha. these are the ingredients used to create the disgusting slimy flubber!)

(Top, Toppest: Clement playing ball games in class)

haha. this will most probably be the last post ill be posting for today regarding what happened last year. sheesh. ive got more to post about. haiz. oh wells, here goes!

Yea!!! school is finally over!! haha.. so now its post exam activities. everyone is having a whale of a time, and in comes Mdm Wong Li Nap with her famous experiment, the Flubber experiment! haha.. well, basically it just involves stirring guar gum and some of this 'tzup (in case u dunno wad tzup is, i meant it as liquid)' like substances into a styrofoam cup. stir and mix properly till the substance is very sticky and ta dah! you get ur flubber! haha..

(The Flubber Sean Nai thew and it exploded in the air. sorry the pict not nice cos i took this without permission in class ah ha ha ha . XD)

Well, after that Mdm Wong went about explaining the fun and joy in throwing flubber around. she was like: "oh flubber is very sticky, you can play around with it, stretch it, and do wadever you like with it!" then sean nai took his own red flubber, and decided to throw it into the air. somehow (i dunno how) it just simply exploded in the air, spraying red crap everywhere, INCLUDING MY PENCIL BOX! arrgh.. haha. then he had to clean up. i can tell you it was no easy job cos the flubber was practically everywhere including the ceiling. haha.

(Jerome and his handiwork [before] and Jerome cleaning up his handicraft [after] so sorry abt the picts! haf to shrink them so the captions can be seen. haha)

then Jerome decided to do what sean nai did too! he took his own flubber and threw it near the Singapore flag. it seriously got glued there. haha. then mdm wong was like, jerome stop throwing things around. haha. at least the blue flubber that jerome threw was not that sticky and can be removed easily. XD

oh wells, that dat was seriously the funniest part of the year, where we get to play and fool around. haha. here are some more picts that i took of the class:

(i believe uve heard of the word Mosaic, but have you heard of the word, POSIAC? *pronounced* posie-saac-ic)

(shafiq smiling at the camera! haha.. i believe that was his 3rd time making the flubber thingum. wonder what happened to the previous two. hmmmm...)

(haha! somehow this got stuck on a piece of newspaper and i found it so darn funny that i decided to take a photo of it. haha. the poor model got his butt dirtied)

(my 3rd brother, Everett and his flubber XD)
(Hmmm.. jim? i wonder... what did u do to the car hmmmm????)
(good fwend and his flubber!)
(jerrold and victor chang chit ann.... bla bla bla and so on and so forth taking a phot with their guar gum!)

What???Got Such Thing Meh???

(i witness the 8th Wonder of the world, how did the computer not know how to process my request?)
yea.. hello! its me again. heh heh.. mmmmmm.. well.. i happened to be doing my homework la. that time we had an IHS essay to do. in case you do not know what does IHS stand for, it means Introductory to Humans and Societies. yep. i dunno if im correct or not, so do check my spelling and correct it for me :P. mmm.. well, the teacher gave this essay to write on la, and the bibliography have to come from the newspaper, so he suggested this newspaper website. i cant really remember the name of the website. all i know is that it was a reference website set up by our school library, and it contains lots of newspaper cuttings. haha.
when i accessed the website, i saw this few words pop up on the screen: "i do not know how to handle this request:-1" man.. i just stared and stared at that comment. i was like. WHAT???? haha.. is this a bougus website? then yea.. i tried and tried again, but it just keep showing that phrase. what really freaked me out the most was actually the smily face that was at the end of it. the ":-1". yea. it felt like it was a prank pulled up by the school librarians mdm betty and mdm agnus. haha. it was so freaky. man, i tell you, i nearly DIED! heh. so i decided to call up a few of my friends to double check and yea! all had the same problem too. haha. it was so funny i think it became the class joke of the year. heh. oh wells. i guess ill stop here for this part of my post. till next time! marcus low, signing off!!!

Racing small formula cars!

(small racing cars moving around a track at high speeds at IMM)

haha.. hey hey hey!! im back! haha.. mmmm.. its been a very long while since i last posted. im very sorry for that long long LONG delay. heh. actually, its cos i was busy trying to learn how to do up my blog page. yea.. so now ive roughly learnt HTML coding, its time to restart my blogging! heh.. well. this happened last year so yea. haha. bear with me. ill be blogging alot about what happened last year, yea, its piling up la. the stuff that i did. so yea! here goes...

*AHEM* well, i went to IMM to do abit of shopping with my parents last year. and yea. being a guy, i kinda hated doing grocery shopping (dont ask me! ask my parents. maybe they hated shopping at this time of age too) yea.. so i was playing around with my handphone, smsing people when i heard this irritating buzzing going on somewhere behind the shopping mall. i went to look and lo and behold! i found people still playing with tamiya cars! haha.. actually tamiya cars are quite fun. these cars are fitted with petrol to run faster la. yea. and it was pretty cool to see these cars buzzing around like angry bees liddat. haha. i wanted to go in for a closer look, but the guy said: " soli la.. karnot. we hafin rase. (sorry la, cannot. we having race)" haha.. i couldnt take it. i ran away and started laughing like mad. oh wells, my mum finally bought the groceries that she wanted, and she really seemed estatic about it. haha.. mmmm... thats all ill blog for this section ba. yep! stay tuned for more rubbish coming up! XD

Man.. ive not blogged for a very very VERY long time! XD

(my ex Horn section, how i will miss them so! and how come my face got squished?? i look like the Gatsby advertisement lol!)

haha.. so sorry for the long wait! im finally back whoo hoo! haha.. ive not been free for the past few days because i had to manage some admin stuff at home. haiz. it was pretty tiring for me ba. especially that i had IOC! oh goodness. IOC, Individual Oral Commentory. 8 minutes of terror. i tell you. my knees were knocking so hard that others would think that i was feeling cold rather than feeling nervous lol!

well.. to start with, i believe i left off at the part of my school's Symphonic Band Night. heh.. ok.. i believe i can start uploading photos:

(Chicken Rice! haha.. looks good right?)

well, the first thing we had after our band practice on that day of the ACS(I) NDP parade was that we went back home, took a bath, rested for awhile before going back to school to prepare for the band concert night. XD. we had already prepaid food, so we were munching on it. not to mention that Isaac really 'enjoyed' his meal, considering that Kinky was just the table next to us. XD

(Me, Samuel Ho, and some unknown saxophone junior eating chicken rice lol![paiseh.. i forgot my junior's name haha])

hmmm, we were eating really happily on our food when i noticed on the far corner on the wall that THERE WAS STILL ONE MORE OF OUR CHARITY BAZAAR POSTED STILL UP THERE! haha.. i immediately tore it down and gave it to Kinky as a present. courtest from Marcus Low. isaac, i hope you and Kinky will spend lots of love and happy times together. haha.. tell me when you guys are going to get engaged ok??? XD ill be waiting! haha. joke joke! i think isaac will most probably flare up and swear at me in japanese when he reads this blog. haha. after all.. thats isaac for u. heh.

(all smiles as everyone prepared themselves mentally and physically for the concert!)

well, the concert proved to be a bang. literally. haha. apart from the fact that i screwed up on my playing at a certain piece. well, the conductor held the silence for so long! haha. and furthermore i felt like sneezing, so well, i sneezed into my trumpet, producing a very very VERY obvious sound, most probably a concert Bb i think. haha. and it was in tune lol. i was so embarrassed after that incident lol. my seniors kept rubbing it in. haiz. man, why do the weirdest things always occur to me??? haha..

(the dreaded thing, the CHIMES!)
well, after that it was obvious we had to clear the stage. heh. we had lots of trouble with all the percussion instruments lol. man, especially the CHIMES!!! haha. believe everyone had alot of trouble carrying that thing, considering it was so bulky and heavy. i think i had a sore throat the next day because i was yelling 'heave! heave!' up the stairs. haha. it took about 7 or so of us to lug that 'thing' up the stairs. haiz. can we get a lighter chime set next time? sheesh... T_____T

(Everett, Edward and I taking a photo. whose that guy in the background?? T_T)

well, that night seemed to be the most fulfilling time of my life i guess. haha. we had lots of fun! and i really really enjoyed myself that day. haha. my senior gave me a rose, thanking me for the years i had been with him. heh. ive got to admit, i didnt expect anything from him. when he gave it to me i was pretty shocked. haha. well, he also gave me a letter that went with the rose. this was what was written on the letter:

' Dear Marcus,

Thanks for making Festival Of Arts a success! gos bless you my mushroom headed Junior (sheesh man.. why did he have to write that???), and thanks for just always making me laugh ^_^. Hope to see you in IB [IB is International Baccalaureate,in case you didnt know, and it is a course in my school]! let's continue to make music with the band.

JML'

sheesh, i felt really weird when i read the message. haha. i kept questioning myself after that, do i make people laugh alot? haha. i guess i cant answer that question. XD

(a photo that everett took with my handphone)
heh. after that, my friends invited me to eat Macdonald's supper at King Albert Park. haha. i ordered fries and ice lemon tea. then we were discussing on the events of the day. sad to say, i had to leave at around 11.45 pm so as not to trouble my parents to drive down to KAP to pick me up. haha.
i guess thats all i have to type for this day then. till next time! XD!

The Long Awaited Post! *edited!

(Majulah Singapura! haha XD)
hwaaa... its been DAYS since i last posted. heh. so sorry readers, was too busy with my work. and yea. somehow my dad decided to fix the router at home, so i couldnt access the Internet. haha. pai seh pai seh. now im BACK! haha.. alot of things happened. let me share it with you guys out there! heh. today its also NATIONAL DAY! whoohoo! haha.. if you guys didnt realise it, today's date is 09/08/07. haha. pretty nice number, thats why im blogging today! haha. another good day to have blogged was the 20th of July, 20/07/2007! XD
heh. soo hmmm.. lets start with the bad stuff that happened to me this past few weeks:

(the stall.. ROTIPRATA.COM)

well, there was this time, my juniors, dexter and mattheus, and i, went to eat Roti Prata at Dover mart. well. that day because we had a long band practice, so well, we had to stay in school for the whole day. during that lunch break, we decided to go out of the school to eat as we thought that there was no more canteen food.

well, we arrived at this prata stall called rotiprata.com. my juniors decided to order thosai, while i ordered a mushroom murtabak. we paid on the spot. well, my junior had to pay for me as i did not have any spare change. thinking that i also ordered thosai, he gave another $1.60 to the uncle at the stall.

when the food arrived, the seller asked my friend to pay for the murtabak. my friend thought there was a mistake in the food, so he was quite upset, till i just said that ill take the murtabak. so my poor junior had to pay another $2.40 as the murtabak cost $4. however, the indian guy didnt accept the change! he kept insisting that we should pay $4 and not $2.40.

well. my friends and i were quite upset with him, and we spent the whole day arguing with him. then the indian guy got angry and took the murtabak and walked off, keeping my friend's earlier change of $1.60. isnt it UNREASONABLE???? for the whole day i was fuming mad at that stall and yea. i swear ill never go and eat at his prata stall ever again!

haiz. that was seriously the most 'pain in the neck' incident that i have ever gone through.

(all arise for the conductor, Dr Lee Tian Tee!man, did he see me taking a photo of him?)

yea. well. apart from that, we had many funny incidents that happened in school. one of which was the incident quite long ago, whereby all participants for the ACS National Day Parade were excused at 1.30pm for their contigent marching. i was also allowed to leave at 1.30 as the band had to perform their marches that day.

hmmm.. lets just say that there were many incidences of 'prison breaks' that happened in our class. well, that day we had Adv Maths for our White Space Period (a period for makeup lessons), so i had to admit. it was pretty boring. heh. Jim.. if you want to escape, at least do it without Mr Chua knowing la.. haiyo.. liddat also dunno. haha! XD

(The ACSI flag contingent party)
heh. i fell sick on the day of the ACS National Day Parade. the doctor told me i was suffering from a contagious flu. hmm. i didnt know that flu can be contagious! XD heh. that aside, we had a rehearsal for the National Day Parade, which started at 6 am early in the morning. all of the band members lugged their sleepy eyes to the Queenstown stadium. well, there was some smart ones that decided to 'pon' that day, as well, we had a concert in the night. heh. good job David Yee and Gu Wei! haha.

(the marching by the Primary sch scouts! or should i say walking?)

haha. and well, i guess the even that woke me up was the March pass by the different contingents. haha. it was extremely funny when it came to the primary school scouts! they were more like walking than marching. some of them even had their hands in their pockets lol! haha.. i guess i cant really blame them because they are still young. haha. reminds me of the recruit band drill time. XD
for those that didnt know, our Symphonic Band had a band concert on the 4th of August, at 7.30pm. haha. so sorry, we werent allowed to take photos during the concert, so yep! i didnt take much photos, only those before and after the concert. XD

haha. forgive me if there arent many pictures being uploaded. somehow my computer cannot upload that many pictures. not too sure why either. heh. i guess ill have to end here for the time being, until i can upload more pictures than i can continue editing this blog. till next time! XD

Drama- MAMA!

(a picture of my school when dark. see the black silloutte in front of the building? thats the eagle's statue!XD)

lo! its been a very long time since i last blogged. my bad my bad. haha. but its partially due to the truckloads and truckloads of homework coming in, especially stuff like preparations for my IOC (Individual Oral Commentary) as well as my IHS (Introduction to Human Societies) essay. yea. all of which are simply turning my hair grey. haha.

speaking of which, i have lots of fun this week fooling around etc etc. well, there were many funny incidences that happened this week. firstly was the smell that was wafting around the school on monday and then tuesday.

On monday, there was this funny smell in the morning that was something like Chlorine, just that i doubt if it was poisonous. heh. my friend (not going to mention who. find out yourself!) said that it smelt like... hmmm... how should i put it in lame man's term.. oh yea. it smelt like white stuff. haha. you should get my drift! XD.

well, when i heard that, i was laughing quite loudly. heh. then the second day, surprise surprise! the air smelt of Milo. haha. i was pretty amazed and well, was pretty surprised. heh. i guess God must have been swimming yesterday, so some of the pool water seeped through the gates of Heaven, and on Tuesday he must have been drinking Milo. XD

oh wells, that aside, the week was pretty fun! XD. we had a 'blinking' incident in school whereby people were, well, blinking rather slowly. haha. i believe that would be a nicer way of phrasing "Nodding off to Dreamland'. haha. i just feel like doing that now as i type this blog lol XD!

(the NDP Parade of the year! ACS in full power!)

well, on Friday we were dismissed from school at 1.30 pm. haha. thats because we have National Day Parade Rehearsal. haha. it was pretty fun to talk with all the ACJC people, especially since i know all the trumpet ACJC people. cracked jokes with them just to pass time. XD

(the ACJS Boys Brigade Marching pass!)

haha. and yea! when it came to the March Pass for the ACS(J) students, they were marching pretty cute as well. some were strolling, some were walking, and some were talking as they marched past the podium. haha. it was simply a funny sight! XD

(^Pictures of the Drama boys and Shafiq, Everett, and me! haha. thank you Alice for taking these picts! and yea.. you sure are good at di siao-ing people la zzz T___T )

well, today i went for my school's Drama Night concert. it was quite interesting. well, except for the last play. but i guess i cant comment much on it since i myself know that they put in alot of effort. so i guess i cant call them lousy. haha. XD. the best play for the day was Made In The Middle Kingdom. haha. i liked the play, especially when my friend errol stomped onto the stage. haha. really majestic and mighty looking. XD

and oh ya! anandraj was also pretty funny looking too. he said 'I AM THE... SUN GOD!' i was like.. hmm.. hmm.. HMMMM.. haha XD

well, guess dats all i have to say for today. ill be editing this post though, so do turn back sometimes to read this post. haha. im asking Errol for the script for his 'Made In The Middle Kingdom' haha. so at least i can include in all the respected words of the venerable old man that keeps speaking nonsense lol. haha. till next time! XD

Joke of the day: [thanks Esmond(i think)]

What A Day I Couldnt Af-(F-O-R-D) To Miss!

(A picture of the front portion of my school)

haha. yo! im back again! haha. so sorry, i have not been blogging for so long. hmmm. well, i DO have alot of stuff to blog, but since im kind of busy nowadays, i guess ill have to leave it for next time then!

Well, this week has been a rather busy week for me. i have been under stress since after the SYF presentation night at SCH, partially because of the incredible amounts of homework give, and at the same time the dates which my projects are due. man, school sure can make one's hair go white!

hmmm, but school can be pretty fun if you know how to appreciate it, and in the correct way as well. things such as our school's very own Racial Harmony Day, whereby students and teachers are both encouraged to come to school in their racial attire. haha. if i recall correctly, i saw an 'ang mo' teacher in the school wearing a Scottish attire, like kilts etc etc. haha, i was pretty amused at his appearance. oh wells, at least that appearance is nothing like the two guys who dressed up in Methodist Girls School and Singapore Chinese Girls School PE attire for Youth Day. haha.

(Clement acting blind, i mean, is he blind?)

haha. and that day, we had an indian friend, (i shall not address who), who dressed up in his indian attire and came to school. haha. well, we were laughing at him, not because he wore his indian attire, but because he was wearing sunglasses. it was a pretty amusing sight though. i mean, which part of an indian attire consists of sunglasses? none that i know of, only those actors in Bollywood movies do such things. XD

(Look at all the fruits on display, my, arent they LOVELY?)

haha, well, that day, i also went to the market with my dad to buy fruits. well, the area was pretty dark, so i decided to use flash to take photos of the fruits which caught my eye. it was seriously a bad decision. the flash went off in the market like 'POOF!', some flash bang like that. everyone stopped and looked at me, except for one old lady who was leaning on a table and sleeping. well, i was pretty embarrassed, but well, at least i had a nice photo taken, and that lightened up my day. XD

(My classmates doodling on the board about the latest release of Harry Potter. haha. man, they sure spoil the reading mood of some poor people like Naga)

and that brings me to my topic for today! haha. one of our first few periods of lesson was chemistry practical, and we were doing esterification. haha. man, i tell you, it sure stinks! haha. the carboxylic acid stank so much that we reeked of it when we entered the class. actually, i believe the smell was mixed up with the smell of the 'fruity, sweet smelling' ester, so well, at least it didnt smell THAT bad! haha. but people like Esmond were running around and shoving their beakers into other people's noses. man, his sure stank like crazy. it smelt like whiteboard marker gone BAD! T___T

(on the way there...)

oh wells, that aside, we didnt do anything much for today. but we ended school early to go to the Ford Factory at Bukit Timah (thank goodness its so near my house!). haha. and yea. it was a thrilling experience on the way there. people were yelling, shouting, and i can remember Shafiq summarising the whole Harry Potter book right in front of Nagarajan, who was frantically trying to finish his book. poor dude. XD

(Yamashita's Communication to Pervical??O.o)

well, when we reached there, i saw my friends crowding around a history based stand regarding the surrender of the british to the japanese. but what made my friends laugh was that the Lieut. Gen Percival's name was spelled wrongly, and to think it is even open for public viewing! haha. man, imagine what would people think of the British if they saw that there. XD!

(walao John, why you dont want me to take photo of you playing Scissors, Paper, Stone with this dude here? siann... )

i took many photos, but if i were to display it all at one go on this one post, im afraid it would just be too big tat my whole blog will collapse. haha. so yep! you can ask me for the photos by adding me to your msn: inuyasha_cool_91@hotmail.com. haha. ill try my best to send them to you ASAP! XD

(The Class People!
Bottom left to right: the factory guide, John Yu, Naga a.k.a BucketBoy, Everett.
Top left to right: Shafiq, Navin, Prasad, Rajesh, Anthony, and Esmond)

haha. and yea, i took a so-called class photo in front of the Ford Factory. and that includes our guide for the day. haha. i feel kind of bad to not be paying much attention to her while she was explaining certain facts but well, i went off on my own photo shoot hunt. haha.

(Mr Andrew Wong and his Toyota Camry parked in the Ford Factory)
well, i guess majority of the class dismissed from there on the spot, and only like 10 persons took the bus back to school. haha. before leaving, i saw Mr Andrew Wong and his car, and decided to take a photo of him. i succeeded, but i wonder, did he catch me in my act???
Joke Of The Day:
if I remember correctly, i owe you guys one more joke from last time since i didnt blog a joke, so now, i shall tell a joke that is worth more than 2 jokes! this joke came from Mr Brian Ng from my last year class:
A father and child were living in poverty for a very long time. one day, they finally decided, hey! lets sell our only means of transportation, which was their donkey, and at least we have some money to live on before we die. they both agreed, and they set out on a journey to a famous market 3 villages away. the father told the son to ride on the donkey while he himself pulled the reins. they moved slowly but surely, and they reached the first village. when they both reached the village, the people there were displeased at such an act of behaviour. they told the son to go down, while the father rode on the donkey, as they consider this as a form of respect. so the father and son changed places and they proceeded on. next, they came to another village. the villages saw that, were unhappy as well. they told the father and son to change places as letting a son to pull the reins seemed like he was doing forced labour. the father complied and once again they switched places. finally, they reached the last village before the market. the villages saw the positions they were in and were displeased and they wanted the father on the donkey. this made the father and son very angry, and they decided to carry the donkey instead. while heading off toward the market, they had to cross a rope bridge. at that time, because of oncoming monsoon rains, the bridge was pretty shaky. the father and son made they way across the bridge slowly carrying the donkey. however, a gust of wind blew and shook so much that the father and son accidentally let go of the donkey and it fell into the river and drowned. so...
Morale of the Story?
Do not listen to other people's comments or you can kiss your ass goodbye! (ass is also the meaning of donkey, if you dont know, check wikipedia)

What A Bad Day!

(The Singapore Flag!)

hello! im back again today! have to hurry up type this post as im late for my tuition. yea. so sorry if there are any grammitical errors or anything. so yep. today I had a REALLY screwed up and bad day. yea. first thing in the morning, we wer having flag raising ceremony. man. i tell you, that was the WORST flag raising we have ever had in the ENTIRE history of ACS(I) la!

well, i was pretty shocked to hear that it was NCC (Air) that was doing the flag raising ceremony. one can practically see the flag go up, and then the school flag went down like till half mast or so, then it went up. the speed was SOOOO slow that we all were fidgetting as the flag inched up bit by bit la. haiz

(Why must band be so-called forced? i believe in responsibility, yet i get scolded for nothing!)

well. i just got scolded by my band teacher for so-called 'skipping' band practice today. i mean, it wasnt my fault! according to others they said that there was no band practice today, but then at around 10+ pm or so last night, i heard that there was band practice from my good friend Ernest Tan. that seriously upsetted me.

i have a makeup tuition as well as makeup bio practical today, and it was all because of the band SYF performance night that i had to make such arrangements. i mean, its supposed to be THAT way, but cant the teachers spare a thought for the band members as well? after all WE are also human beings right?

When i called up the teacher, the teacher scolded me for not being able to turn up for band today, and he even insisted that i write a letter of excuse and clean up the band room on saturday. how is this logical? i even had to cancel one of my tuitions on tuesday because of Band SYF performance night. if i dont do my tuitions on thursday, which was supposed to have no band practice, then when do i do it? here is my schedule for the week:

Monday: band till 6pm, Tuesday: Drum Tuition and Chemistry Tuition, come home at 9.30pm,

Wednesday: Physics Tuition till 9.30pm, Thursday: band practice, Friday: Chinese Tuition, Saturday: band practice again.

tell me, how MUCH time and when do i do my chemistry tuition? band simply hogs up all my time! im not trying to blaming band for everything, but well, at least be REASONABLE when you tell people la! one cant simply scold others over the phone.

i wish that teachers would calm down and just tell the student calmly instead. this is simply ridiculous. oh wells.

Another stupid thing that happened in school today was during IHS tutorial. our IHS teacher told us that if we were not to be found at computer lab 6 today, he will lock us out of the lab. so we all 'cheonged' to the computer lab. never did we expect it to be locked, and also it was not even booked!

the IHS teacher told us that he tried booking, but to no avail. that i can believe him, but it makes me frustrated to run around the whole school complex just for that matter.

(Ming Jie's sheepie pencil box!)

that aside, a funny thing happened in school today that was so memoriable that it made me laugh my guts out. today for physics

, we were talking about this guy, whose surname was Taylor. then someone from my class (i forgot who), went like: 'his occupation is of course a tailor la!' when the teacher asked what did he do or so. yea. sorry if im paraphrasing, but i forgot to record it down.

well, the physics teacher said that that was actually true, Taylor may have come from the word Tailor from ancient civilizations. when she said that, My friend Ming Jie went: ' oh my god, then my ancestor's occupation is the LOO!'(in case you guys dont know, ming jie's surname is Loo). that joke really made everyone laugh, including me as well. haha. i guess my surname Low has it significance as well. hmmm.. maybe my ancestors came from shangHIGH! [shanghai] XD. haha..

oh ya. there was this incident on the bus ride home ah. i was taking bus 74 to sunset there. when i alighted the bus, i was kinda bored, so was playing with my handphone. all of a sudden, there was this guy at the back of the bus, suddenly shouted: "POLICEMAN! POLICEWOMAN!" so loudly that ALL the commuters looked at him. i was shocked myself! i was so shocked that i didnt want to turn my head around, fearing that it was some ah beng. haha. but it was this old man dressed in a blue T-shirt. my junior who was on the bus, told me that earlier before, he stamped his foot so hard on the floor, everyone looked at him. then he pretended to look out of the window. i guess that guy must be mentally unstable or rather retarded. so much for today, and it was also a rare sight. haha. i got to admit, i was pretty amused.

oh wells. im rushing for time now, so this post will be pretty short. there wont be any jokes for today. so sorry, but because of time constraint and also im actually having tuitions now, so yea. i guess another time ill add double jokes then! till next time, marcus low, signing off! XD

Singapore Youth Festival 2007!

(Singapore Youth Festival Brochure)

Hello! im back again! haha. i know ive not been blogging for a very long time. my bad my bad. XD. anyway. ive got tons of things to do. so right now while i am typing this blog, im also doing my homework as well as doing a bit of reading as well.haha. its all thanks to that IHS project la. and well. partially band as well. but oh wells, i cant throw all the problems at band alone, if not ill be pushing responsibility.

(My ex- section and I, the X-Horns, except for Mattheus[extreme left], who is my junior in the trumpet section)

Yea. yesterday was our main band's SYF presentation night. well, it was simply an entertaining time of our lives, being Top Band again for the 2nd consecutive time. and this time we hit a score of 90++ percent, and that is actually big news as the bands in the whole of Singapore has not gotten a 90+ percentage before. so we are actually the first to 'tio' that score.

(The front of our SYF performance hall, Zhong Foyer!)

But it was pretty disappointing though. i kind of expected Singapore Conference Hall to be filled with people from different races and religion, but well, it was like only 3/4 full. and to makes things worse, it was mostly parents coming down to support their children. haha.

Well, they were playing some patriotic song on the speakers while the doors were being opened to public. well.. lets just say the song sounded childish, but we all knew that they were doing so so as to welcome Mrs Nathan, who was watching us perform that day.

It was quite a hair-raising experience to be on stage performing for the lady whose husband is the 2nd most important man in the whole of Singapore. i was seriously so scared that my feet were shaking under the long pants that i was wearing. heh. so much for experienced trumpeteer/horner.

Well, after the performance we had a gathering (as usual). and yea. we took plenty of photos in the waiting room. all of us were discussing whether we did our best or not, like they will go: "sia la.. i miss that note" or "wah lao.. why you go out of tune on that concert Bb ah?". haha.

It was mostly 'TCSS' according to Mr Lim Eng Kong, who is my class IHS teacher. TCSS means Talk Cock Sing Song. haha. i dont know where he got that phrase from, but it sounds pretty cool.

Well, i guess everyone was pretty amused when it came to the episodes of 'Kinky and Isaac'. haha. in case you guys dont know, Kinky, or rather, Darren, is our band's sec 3 Euphonium player, and Isaac was his Recruit IC. well, Kinky simply loved Isaac so much that he called himself "Isaac's BEST recruit.. from the bottom" and he always shows a smile when he does that.

(Isaac and Kinky together. My.. arent they LOVELY?)

Well, whenever he sees Isaac, he will just go up and hug Isaac, never forgetting to give him a hug and go "Hello Isaac my darling!" haha. poor isaac, having no choice, has to let kinky hug him all the way. till his face turns red with anger. as in, when his face is red, you can instantly tell it. its his.. hmm.. Universal Indicator. those that know isaac, i believe you cant agree with me more. ya. too much acid in his body from too much excitement.

And yep! Kinky keeps claiming that Isaac is his 'Beloved Girlfriend' and he always attempts to make Isaac feel happy. haha. i faintly recall once, before our Chinese O Level Listening Comprehension, Kinky attempted to kiss Isaac (i was away from the scene at that time, was in toilet tidying myself). and yea. Poor Isaac was caught off guard and that made the others from 4.11 there laugh like mad. Isaac, i seriously wonder when you are going to stop being teased at by Jon Whye and Clement. hmmm.. maybe they will meet you in NS as well as University? haha. that will seriously be 'taico'. XD

Well, Isaac keeps claiming that he and Kinky do NOT look alike, but judging from the appearances, like:

1) wear spectacles

2) the poses they do

(Left: Kinky aka Darren, doing his thing and posing; Right: Isaac showing his Right Hand Grip Rule and going 'Ichiban'!)

You can see that they are meant to be together. haha. no offense against Isaac there by the way. Isaac please dont kill me. XD. well, you shouldnt la. Kinky told me to put up some ridiculous thing on my blog. and ya. you should be thankful that i didnt! XD

Well, if Isaac were to read this, i guess he will bang his fist on the table and go "OBJECTION YOUR HONOUR!" haha. well, being with Isaac for so many years prove to be quite an entertainment for me, especially when Isaac is around

Clement. you can seriously apply the rule: do not cross the road when you see the red man. haha. because by that time Isaac will be emotionally unstable and well, he will

go MEHED!

And ya. thats all i have to say about the relationship between Kinky and Isaac. the rest you may personally ask him in school or when you go out and you meet Isaac or Darren along the way. XD. i believe they are MORE than willing to tell you of the current situation.

(My FINAL photo i am going to upload of Kinky and Isaac. guess.. do you think Isaac looks happy with the peace sign while taking a photo with Kinky?)

OH wells, i guess thats all i can type for now. My laptop is blanking out on me. heh. so yea. haha. you can call me lazy i guess.. so yep! tune in tomorrow for the edited version of the "Kinky and Isaac" Part 2 edited and UNCENSORED! XD. till next time!
